Free and open-source content management system written in PHP and paired with a MySQL or MariaDB database. Started as a fork of b2/cafelog in 2003.

Challenge & solution

The challenge

Mobile traffic was outpacing desktop two-to-one, yet the existing experience was effectively unusable below 768px.

The solution

Wrote a zero-downtime migration pipeline that mirrored writes to both systems, then cut over after a clean shadow-read week.
