Application-level dependency manager for PHP. Manages packages on a per-project basis; the de-facto standard since 2012.
Composer 2 (2020) rewrote the solver for dramatically faster installs and lower memory use.

Challenge & solution
The challenge
A patchwork of spreadsheets and three different inboxes meant nobody knew the real status of a job until the customer complained.
The solution
Wrote a zero-downtime migration pipeline that mirrored writes to both systems, then cut over after a clean shadow-read week.
